Check Valves
A check valve is vital to a sump pump. The valve stops water flowing back into the sump pit when the pump stops. A common problem with existing check valves is that upon flow reversal the check valve slams shut. Repeated slamming can damage the valve and pipes causing leaks. (Fitting Blow Outs)
